Hello person, you’ve landed on our site! My name is Lil, and I am the founder and director of Callous Affection Dance.

Hailing from Brighton and now based in Plymouth, we make contemporary dance work that explores the arc of ‘good’ and ‘bad’ within each of us, assigning both equal value, and compassionately challenging where we place ourselves and others on that arc. By encouraging an exploration into both positive and negative aspects of our society, and ourselves, we aim to build authentic and valuable connections between members of the community. It is no secret that we face high intensity times. Callous Affection believes in using this opportunity to relate to each other and support one another. We aim to celebrate the beauty in this life for all it is worth. Good,  bad, ugly, and beautiful- amidst it all, is us, and what makes us special is that we can come together and Dance about it…
